Home Remedies for Chapped Lips

In this video I'll be talking about a problem that can effect the most beautiful curve of your face, your smile. I am talking about the problem of chapped lips. When winter arrives, can chapped lips be far behind! It all starts with dryness, followed by Redness, Soreness, Cracking, Peeling, Pain, Swelling and Bleeding, though not in the same order. Lips are prone to dryness because they do not have sebaceous and sweat glands.


Thus, they tend to chap when they lose moisture due to:
Cold or dry weather, the habit of licking or peeling your lips and Dehydration Applying lip balm or petroleum jelly is perhaps the most common remedy for chapped lips. But few natural home remedies can too be effective. For this first natural home remedy to treat your chapped lips. We need Sugar and Honey. We will take 2 teaspoons of sugar. Mix 1 teaspoon of honey in it. Mix both the ingredients well. Gently scrub this mixture on your your lips for a few minutes and wash them off with lukewarm water. For this next home remedy to keep your lips naturally beautiful and healthy. Take a few rose petals. Wash them and soak them in a little raw milk for a few hours. I already have it here with me.

Finally, crush the rose petals. And apply this on your lips for about 2-3 times a day for 3-4 weeks. Apart from healing your lips this will also keep your lips naturally pink. Alternatively, you could also use the combination of rose water with a little glycerin or honey. Now time for some quick tips to help you make your lips stay naturally beautiful. Applying milk cream, clarified butter, coconut oil, castor oil, or pure lanolin can also be of great help to treat your chapped lips. Avoid licking your lips repeatedly. Do not peel dead dry skin from your lips. Eat foods rich in vitamin B Complex. And drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
